Are You Into Fright Night?

At this time of year, many people get into the spirit –figuratively, of course – of ghouls and ghosts and monsters.  If it’s your thing, there are many spots in New York City where you can satisfy those cravings.  And there are just as many outside of the City, but certainly reachable.  One of the closest is a small village in Westchester County named Sleepy Hollow – and that should tell you that it’s really something different.

At Horseman’s Hollow, historic Philipsburg Manor is taken over by vampires, witches, and ghosts, and walk through a village rampaged by the Headless Horseman.

You can enjoy it evenings this weekend and next; read more, and see a brief video clip, at http://www.hudsonvalley.org/content/view/196/199/.

But pay special attention to the warning on their website: “This event is not suitable for small children and it is not suitable for adults who are claustrophobic, have heart or respiratory conditions, are prone to seizures, or have other chronic health conditions.”  That could pretty much cover all of us…

Feel free to leave a comment, and please come back often – I write and post every day!  And if you like what I have to say and how I say it, you’ll probably enjoy my novels as well.  They’re listed below, and you can read more about them on my website, http://www.randolphmase.com.  In the near future, I’ll have excerpts of my books that you can read, accessible through my site.  Please check it out!

And to view updated blogs in real-time, go to http://alphainventions.com or http://blogiche.com – they’re both great sites!
