The New Tavern on the Green…a Visitor Center!

I’ve written a few times about the Tavern on the Green, one of the most famous New York City restaurants.  Until its closing this past January, that is.  Well, it’s back, but this time helping, rather than feeding, visitors.

Last week, the building opened as the Tavern on the Green Visitor Center & Gift Shop, offering a one-stop shop for Central Park visitors with information on tours, attractions, and events.

But not to worry; food will also be available from mobile food vendors on the outdoor terrace.  Hurry, though – it will be operating only until the City finds a permanent restaurant for the building!

Feel free to leave a comment, and please come back often – I write and post every day!  And if you like what I have to say and how I say it, you’ll probably enjoy my novels as well.  They’re listed below, and you can read more about them on my website, http://www.randolphmase.com.  In the near future, I’ll have excerpts of my books that you can read, accessible through my site.  Please check it out!

And to view updated blogs in real-time, go to http://alphainventions.com or http://blogiche.com – they’re both great sites!
