Are You Into Fright Night?

       At this time of year, many people get into the spirit –figuratively, of course – of ghouls and ghosts and monsters.  If it’s your thing, there are many spots in New York City where you can satisfy those cravings.  And there are just as many outside of the City, but certainly reachable.  One of the closest is a small village in Westchester County named Sleepy Hollow – and that should tell you that it’s really something different.

       At Horseman’s Hollow, historic Philipsburg Manor is taken over by vampires, witches, and ghosts, and walk through a village rampaged by the Headless Horseman.

       But pay special attention to the warning on their website: “This event is not suitable for small children and it is not suitable for adults who are claustrophobic, have heart or respiratory conditions, are prone to seizures, or have other chronic health conditions.”  That could pretty much cover all of us…
