And a Trip to Foxwoods

In yesterday’s post about Mohegan Sun, I mentioned our preference for Foxwoods, just minutes away.  My wife and I spent a long weekend there in June, so we really got to see a lot of the place.

If you’ve never been to Foxwoods, it is also quite impressive, starting with the view from the road as you approach it.  Just like Mohegan Sun, it’s huge, with features such as (taken from their website):

     – Six casinos

     – Several hotels, including the MGM Grand

     – Full-service spa

     – More than 30 restaurants

     – More than 6,200 slot machines

     – More than 380 table games.

And I liked the table limits, many of which were $5 minimum.  And I also liked the fact that Foxwoods donated to us, unlike our experience at Mohegan Sun…
