Things to do in Brooklyn

Here’s the list from the NYC Official Visitor Guide of things to see and do in Brooklyn, where I was born:

  • Smith Street in BoCoCa (Boerum Hill, Cobble Hill, Carroll Gardens)
  • Brooklyn Botanic Garden
  • Brooklyn Brewery
  • Brooklyn Children’s Museum
  • New York Transit Museum
  • River Café
  • Brooklyn Bridge
  • Brooklyn Heights and its brownstones
  • Park Slope and Prospect Park
  • Williamsburg and DUMBO (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass)
  • Crown Heights and its cultural tours

That’s a great list for anyone visiting Brooklyn!  The only thing they missed was St Catherine Hospital, where I was born.  But that’s probabaly because it’s now senior housing…

By the way, you can download a guide at http://www.nycgo.com/guides.  Enjoy!
