Going Gaga Over the Gaga Arts Festival!

A great weekend activity is happening about 40 miles north of Times Square, west of the Hudson River.  It’s the Gaga Arts Festival 2011, open tomorrow and Sunday from 11 in the morning until 6 pm.  But you’ll find more than art here; here are just some of the displays and activities you’ll find:

  • The 8,000 square foot Dye Works Gallery, with a coffeehouse, artworks of more than 25 artists, and music
  • Performances by Chiku Awali Dancers
  • Glass Blowing demonstrations
  • Children’s Workshops
  • A Nature Walk and Sculpture Trail
  • Open artist studios
  • And much more!

Given the weather forecast, it should be a great weekend to celebrate May Day and get out and enjoy!

Feel free to leave a comment, and please come back often – I write and post every day!  And ifyou like what I have to say and how I say it, you’ll probably enjoy my novels as well.  They’re listed below, and you can read more about them on my improved website, designed and built by my son Don, http://www.randolphmase.com.  On my site, you’ll also find excerpts of my books that you can read – please check it out!
