More Stupid Criminals

I’ve written in the past about some of the stupid things criminals do, such as wearing sneakers that light up when you take a step while fleeing the scene of your crime and  driving more than 80 mph on Interstate 84 in Connecticut with drugs and a shotgun in your car, trying to elude police.  Last week, I  heard about another guy who was, for whatever reason, walking along railroad tracks.  He approached a house and, finding that nobody was home, entered.  But I guess his motive wasn’t robbery.  He proceeded to cook and eat pancakes, being polite enough to put the dirty dishes in the dishwasher.  Did he leave at that point?  No – I suppose the food made him tired, so he sat in a recliner and took a nap.  And you guessed it – the homeowner arrived to find him fast asleep, called 911, and the rest is, as they say, history!  If you want to entertain yourself with even more stories, go to, or read the book shown above.  But don’t try these at home
