Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Garden

A great thing to do during the holiday season is to visit the Holiday Train Show at the New York Botanical Garden in the Bronx, which starts tomorrow.  When you visit, you can, as their website describes, “marvel at the charming model trains and New York landmarks made of plant parts such as nuts, bark, and leaves.”  The landmarks include the original Yankee Stadium, the Statue of Liberty, and the Brooklyn Bridge.

Plan an entire day there, as you may also be able to enjoy these kid-friendly attractions:

  • Gingerbread Adventures
  • Holiday Film Festival
  • The Little Engine That Could™ Puppet Show
  • All Aboard with Thomas and Friends™
  • And the Holiday Tree Lighting tomorrow at 4pm.

Give the kids a treat, and head for the Bronx!  Read more at http://www.nybg.org.
