Answers to How Well Do You Know Your Movies? – Part 2

Okay, so here are the answers to the 10 movie quotes I posted on Friday (I’ve also included the actor and year); some are pretty easy, but there are a couple of stumpers:

  • “There’s no place like home!” – Dorothy (Judy Garland), The Wizard of Oz, 1939
  • “I wish I knew how to quit you.” – Jack Twist (Jake Gyllenhaal), Brokeback Mountain, 2005
  • “I’ve seen things you people wouldn’t believe.  Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.  I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate.  All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.  Time to die.” – Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer), Bladerunner, 1982
  • “Look, Daddy.  Teacher says every time a bell rings, an angel gets his wings.” – Zuzu Bailey (Karolyn Grimes), It’s a Wonderful Life, 1946
  • “A liger…it’s pretty much my favorite animal.  It’s like a lion and a tiger mixed, bred for its skills and magic.” – Napoleon (Jon Heder), Napoleon Dynamite, 2004
  • “Here’s Johnny!” – Jack Torrance (Jack Nicholson), The Shining, 1980
  • “I’ll have what she’s having.” – Diner Woman (Estelle Reiner), When Harry Met Sally, 1989
  • “You come here and shoot at my family?  I’m gonna teach you a real lesson now mother***er.  Put your f***in’ mouth on the curb.” – Derek Vinyard (Edward Norton), American History X, 1998
  • “E.T. phone home.” – E.T. (Pat Welsh), E.T. the Extraterrestrial, 1982
  • “We came.  We saw.  We kicked its ass.” – Dr. Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Ghostbusters, 1984

How did you do?  Stay tuned – more to come…
