A recent edition of New York magazine lists what they consider to be the best new restaurants in New York (alphabetically):

1. Acme, a fun and inventive Bistro on Great Jones Street downtown.

2. Atera on Worth Street downtown.

3. Battersby on Smith Street in Brooklyn.

4. Blanca, a tasting room in Williamsburg.

5. Calliope in the East Village.

6. Il Buco Alimentari e Vineria, also on Great Jones Street.

7. Neta in the West Village.

8. The NoMad in the Chelsea hotel of the same name.

9. Perla on Minetta Lane in the West Village

10. Pok Pok Ny on Columbia Street in the Waterfront district of Brooklyn.
