Enjoy Open House New York!

Open House New York 2013

There’s an event in New York City this weekend that you might be interested in.  It’s Open House New York, started in 2003 as an opportunity for the public to learn about New York City’s architecture and design.  The weekend includes a number of sites, talks, and tours, including:

  1. The Edgar Allen Poe Cottage in the Bronx
  2. The Brooklyn Navy Yard
  3. Socrates Sculpture Park in Queens
  4. Voorlezer’s House in Historic Richmond Town on Staten Island
  5. Forgotten Revolutionary War Heroes and Statesmen in Manhattan

It’s a great way to learn more about the City.  You can get more details and download an activity schedule at http://www.ohny.org.  But hurry – you’ll need reservations for some of the activities!

Feel free to leave a comment, and please come back often – I write and post every day!  And if you like what I have to say and how I say it, you’ll probably enjoy my novels as well.  They’re listed below, and you can read more about them on my improved website, designed and built by my son Don, http://www.randolphmase.com.  On my site, you’ll also find excerpts of my books that you can read – please check it out!

And to view updated blogs in real-time, go to http://kadency.com – it’s a great site!
