The Central Park Conservancy Film Festival

Central Park Film Festival

Most of us know that there are abundant activities for all in Central Park. But few know that it offers a free outdoor film festival. That’s right, on 5 consecutive nights – August 18 thru 22 – classic movies will be shown on the lawn between Sheep Meadow and the 72nd Street Cross Drive. Gates open at 6:30 and the films begin at 8; here’s the schedule:

  • August 18 – Big
  • August 19 – The Royal Tenenbaums
  • August 20 – The Way We Were
  • August 21 – Ghostbusters
  • August 22 – Rear Window

It’s another great opportunity to enjoy New York City and a classic film – and it’s free!

Feel free to leave a comment, and please come back often – I write and post often! And if you like what I have to say and how I say it, you’ll probably enjoy my novels as well. They’re listed below, and you can read more about them on my improved website, designed and built by my son Don, http://www.randolphmase.com. On my site, you’ll also find excerpts of my books that you can read – please check it out!
