Oh, Those Holiday Window Displays!

SAMSUNG DIGITAL CAMERA

One of my favorite things to do in New York City during the holiday season is viewing the holiday window displays at major stores in the city, including Macy’s, Lord & Taylor, Bloomingdale’s, and Barney’s, among others. It’s just a great way to spend a late afternoon in December. And while you’re at it, stop by FAO Schwartz and Toys”R”Us to see their indoor displays – but expect to be in a huge crowd.

But if you can’t make it to New York – or if you just prefer to enjoy the displays from the warmth of your home – go to http://www.usatoday.com/story/money/business/2014/11/25/nyc-holiday-windows/19481973/. USA Today has prepared a great video display of the tours for you. Enjoy!

Feel free to leave a comment, and please come back often – I write and post often! And if you like what I have to say and how I say it, you’ll probably enjoy my novels as well. They’re listed below, and you can read more about them on my improved website, designed and built by my son Don, http://www.randolphmase.com. On my site, you’ll also find excerpts of my books that you can read – please check it out!

Nice. I think the kids will enjoy watching videos of the Christmas displays.
