The Central Park Conservancy Film Festival

Central Park Film Festival

Yet another chance to see a classic film outdoors is coming up in Central Park. That’s right, on 5 consecutive nights – August 25 thru 29 – classic movies will be shown on the lawn between Sheep Meadow and the 72nd Street Cross Drive. Gates open at 6:30 and the films begin at 8; here’s the schedule:

  • August 25 – Fame
  • August 26 – The Blues Brothers
  • August 27 – Airplane!
  • August 28 – Raging Bull
  • August 29 – Superman II

It’s another great opportunity to enjoy New York City and a classic film – and it’s free!

Feel free to leave a comment, and please come back – I write and post often! And if you like what I have to say and how I say it, you’ll probably enjoy my novels as well. They’re listed below, and you can read more about them on my improved website, designed and built by my son Don, On my site, you’ll also find excerpts of my books that you can read – please check it out!
