How Well Do You Know New York State?

Randolph Mase Blogging Tips 2

One of the categories on a past Jeopardy! episode was “A Visit to New York State,” so I’ll venture beyond NYC and include it in my blog. Here are the answers; just come up with the correct question for each. I’ll give those questions in a future post:

  1. Prospect Point provides excellent views of this attraction; Queen Victoria Park does the same from the Canadian side.
  2. At Sunnyside, near Sleepy Hollow, New York, home of this “Rip Van Winkle author, he designed the home & grounds himself & wrote , “It is a beautiful spot, capable of being made a little paradise?”
  3. Want to see the National Baseball Hall of Fame? Head to this village in Otsego County.
  4. I got my first taste of stargazing as a 9-year-old kid in New York City when I took a trip to this facility at the American Museum of Natural History; later I took classes there & today I’m its director.
  5. What could be more serene than a visit to this resort in the Adirondacks, the USA’s first winter Olympics host?.

Feel free to leave a comment, and please come back – I write and post often! And if you like what I have to say and how I say it, you’ll probably enjoy my novels as well. They’re listed below, and you can read more about them on my improved website, designed and built by my son Don, http://www.randolphmase.com. On my site, you’ll also find excerpts of my books that you can read – please check it out!
