One of the categories on a recent Jeopardy! episode was “Brooklyn,” which happens to be my birth place. Here are the answers; just come up with the correct question for each. I’ll give those questions in a future post:
- In 2012 this NBA franchise relocated from New Jersey to Brooklyn.
- North Central Brooklyn’s Bed-Stuy, short for this, features the Billie Holiday Theatre.
- Joey Chestnut said, “I found a vicious rhythm” after downing 74 hot dogs on July 4, 2018 in this Brooklyn neighborhood.
- On June 19, 1915 this battleship that’s now a memorial in Pearl Harbor was christened in the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
- The edifice built as Brooklyn City Hall is now called this, reflecting Brooklyn’s status within New York City.
