How Well Do You Know New York Fiction?

One of the categories on a recent Jeopardy! episode was “New York-set Fiction.”  Here are the answers; just come up with the correct question for each.  I’ll give those questions in a future post:

  1. From this novella: “Holly Golightly had been a tenant in the old brownstone; she’d occupied the apartment below mine.”
  2. Chaim Potok’s classic “The Chosen” tells of 2 Jewish young men growing up in the Williamsburg area of this borough.
  3. There are sinister goings on at the Bramford apartment building, including Mrs. Woodhouse’s pregnancy, in this Ira Levin classic.
  4. This “Sex and the City” author also gave us “Lipstick Jungle” & “One Fifth Avenue.”
  5. Edith Wharton wrote of upper-class New York society during the Gilded Age in this Pulitzer Prize winner.

Feel free to leave a comment, and please come back – I write and post often!  And if you like what I have to say and how I say it, you’ll probably enjoy my novels as well.  They’re listed below, and you can read more about them on my improved website, designed and built by my son Don,  On my site, you’ll also find excerpts of my books that you can read – please check it out!
